CBH Crew Disappear - Forum, Voiceless Narrator Reappear!

TP News Service
In a shocking turn of events, both the Forum and the voiceless narrator (who was formerly used to impart pertinent information from a non-partisan, 'Third Person' perspective) have returned to the Comic Book Haters' fold. Tragically, these ressurections may go unheralded, as their arrival comes amidst rumors of a possible cessation of the CBH empire. "It's really not a rumor," says series Co-Host DJ Sloofus, "We pretty much came right out and said it."
This comment, which may seem obvious upon close scrutinization, remains blithely innocuous when merely glanced over. "I don't fucking know," informs well-known crankpot and graphic novel dethusiast Schoolworth G. Schoolington. "It's probably just some stupid fucking joke." When asked about the forthcoming forum, Schoolington replied, "I gotta go take a shit."
Those interested in observing the 'grass roots' creation of the new forum may check this particular inter-link. Anyone wishing to wait for the "Grand Opening" might be reminded of the fact that this forum will be located on the internet, and is therefore not prone to normal operating hours.
The above image was culled from, quite literally, billions of photographs displayed on the interweb. No connection with CBH, Inc. is expressed, implied, or blatantly stated.

Episode CXVIII - Shulk Fu

Anyone who has bothered to stick around this long knows what to expect from a Comic Book Haters podcast episode. Sure, there are curse words, inane observations, over the top nerdiness and lots of drinks flowing, but what does it all mean? What purpose do these podcasts serve? Have you ever stopped to think about that? Well, this one in particular provides the world with a much-needed critical review of Jim Starlin's "Death of the New Gods" number one, and a glimpse at an old She-Hulk comic from last summer. Let's face it; the Comics Journal isn't going to touch either of these titles. Luckily, the Comic Book Haters did, and they're bringing it all back home to you.

Episode CXVII - Beyond Numeric Comprehension

What do long-term listeners of the Comic Book Haters podcast know? Probably not very much, but a few things might stick in their mind (or, at the very least, their craw). Foremost amongst these treasured memories is the fact that Schooly G carries deep within his heart a limitless surplus of love for the Generally Infant ones, G.I. Joe. This time, the CBH Podcast crew is joined by Canadian Ryan O'Hara, who is currently involved in a plethora of projects, which are quite possibly provided for your perusal at his web location. The topic of discussion? The G.I. Joe feature film that was recently announced. Also this episode: Cappy get all Captacular on an indie comic! Before embarking upon your next lunar voyage, why not listen in to the latest episode of the podcast?

Episode CXVI - Down? Left up, Right!

Ahhh, to be young and in love. Or, to be young and playing video games. They both get you to pretty much the same place. In this instance, it's to a comic book review podcast. This go-round, the Comic Book Haters are pleasing both sides of the coin: those who like video games, and those who like comic books about video games! Who says versatility is a dead word? Join DJ Sloofus and Schooly G for an 'outsider's gander' at the Halo comic book and the Resident Evil 3 movie. It's not at 'snarky' as most other comic book podcasts, but throw the old boys a bone for longevity, won't you? Alright, keep your stupid fucking bone and click this link.

Episode CXV- Ol' Iron Sloof

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one podcast to drink lots of beer and talk about shitty comics and nerd culture, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires them to declare that comics suck and are deserving of mankind's disdain. This is the record of that disdain.*

Please join Sloofus, Umbrellaman, and Schooly in their declaration of things that suck. For instance, in this episode, the boys review Girls by the Luna brothers and the Iron Man trailer. Also, Sloofus illustrates his knowledge (or lack thereof!) of all things funnybook in a Slings and Arrows Challenge.

And what would an episode be without a listener submission from none other than Fake Peter? It would be a hell of a lot less funny, I tells ya.

So please click here and join in the mayhem. Really, it's more hilarious hijinx than mayhem, though there is a healthy dose of jocularity thrown in for good measure.

*Apologies to Thomas Jefferson, rockin' the swirl in the afterlife, I'm sure. Get down with your bad self, TJ.
