Enjoy the Stylings of This Fellow

The Comic Book Haters would be remiss were they to avoid diverting your attention towards Mr. Funny Himself, Alex Affonso. Joined by a crack writing team (along with several translationists), Affonso has undoubtedly spent countless nights deep within the psyche of the human brain, or at least some portion of the lumbering animal. Mentally digest, if you will, April 6th's offering: "An Observation." Visit the following link (on computer only) by clicking on the period.

Episode XCIII - Thank Fuck, Schooly's Gone

Schooly G has gone missing! Who could be behind this nefarious plot? Who would dare abscond with our medium's most mediocre medium? The soothsayer of shit, Schooly G himself! Missing! Gone! Was it premeditated, or a case of instantaneous revenge? Lord knows, the man has angered enough individuals to warrant the death sentence on twelve systems. Will he be back? Undoubtedly, but don't let that assuage you as you listen to this episode, which we could only title... "Schooly's Out for the Summer."

Episode XCII - Challenge of the Dopefriends

This is it, true beweeders! The Dopefiend rounds out his weeklong venture into the throngs (and bongs) of the Funnybook Dungeon with a look at the latest happenings within the comic book community. Join him, won't you, as he embraces Schooly G, DJ Sloofus, and their hedonistic lifestyle. For all of you first time listeners, allow us to get you up to date. Longtime follwers, please indulge us for a moment. In brief, DJ Sloofus loves comic books. Schooly G represents the 'outsider's perspective,' as he claims to hate the medium. Dopefiend is obviously a confused individual, since he's wasting his time with these two assholes. Click here to see what all the fuss is about. Bonus points to anyone that can correctly identify the comic Umbrellaman based this episode's image on.

Episode XCI - The Dope Knight Triumphant

Most thought of him as an urban legend; an old tale told to frighten children against the horrors of sobriety. Always enveloped in a cloud of emerald mist, this mysterious captain of cannabis leaves behind him a trail of confusion, delusion, and in one instance, absolution. It's been a long time since he's been seen around these parts, but the Dopefiend is back to bring some green tinted commentary to the Comic Book Haters' podcast. This time around, the boys take a look at fellow Briton Pete Loveday, as well as some questionable webcomics. Click here to enjoy the ride of your life, and be sure to visit the Dopefiend at http://www.dopefiend.co.uk before too long. Tune in Thursday for the second half of DF's weeklong tenure into the land of funnybooks. Also, the countdown to Episode 100 is upon us!
