Episode LXXXIII - Sloofless
Somewhere in the vast realms of the Funnybook Nation, a nerd wanders alone. Ever searching for the greatest comic book ever created, he will continue on his quest for eternity, if need be. What does this pretentious nonsense mean to you, the listener? Basically that Sloofus is not in this episode. He most assuredly won't be missed. During Sloofus' absence, the remaining CBH podcast crew engage their wits in a mighty battle of 20 Questions. Yes, apparently this is really what passes for 'entertainment' these days. WTF? He doesn't wear a helmet.
That globe of question marks is his helmet. He tried to get one with little green lanterns on it, but the Harley dealer laughed him out of the store.
No.... the 20-question thing. UM said that the person in question wore a helmet. He doesn't.
Not to be a stickler, but I was playing at home while unloading the dishwasher. I feel cheated.
He probably wore a helmet at one time or another.
Sorry if I sound as though I'm being too picky. It's just that I take the game of 20-questions very serious. A lot of people don't know this, but I was actually on my Community College's 20-Question team. All two years in fact.
What's strange about this whole thing is that Schooly G dressed up as this comic book character at last year's Wizard World Philly. He should have known that he doesn't wear a helmet.
Damn you SFR, I just re-listened to this shit again, too. I have a couple insights into the matter. One, I think Umbrellaman was probably thinking of the movie version of the character, who wears a helmet that covers his entire face. Two, the original character does indeed (as Jack Vorpal pointed out) wear headgear of some sort (a faggy, pointed hat).
Even more disturbing is the fact that Umbrellaman said this character does NOT wear purple. For shame, UM, for shame!

Your honor, in my defense I was drunk...
Umbrellaman
The movie version? That might be plausible, if the name of the podcast was The Movie Haters. Also, a floppy purple hat does not make a helmet.
What the hell is going on here? I don't really listen to the episodes.
It also rules out the possibility that Cappy isn't a complete fucking retard.
