He truly was a remarkable man. The fact that he would willingly walk away from a lucrative medical practice to advance civil rights is often over looked by modern historians. Most only focus on his speeches and the famous debates with Jim Crow.
Yeah, sorry. I meant the 20th century, though I'm still hoping he'll "get better."
