Episode LXXX - Slow Brother, Where Fart Thou?

The 1960's were a time of peace, love, and (from the looks of Brother Power, the Geek #1) a little bit of that whacky tobaccy. The Comic Book Haters' take a look at this cult favorite, and reminisce warmly about an era none have ever personally experienced. Heads, Freaks, and all who want to get 'Turned On' should listen to this episode of the podcast. All that, and a review of Cappy's favorite super-hero, "Ultimate Spider-Man." Plus, some incidental music to serve as a segue between nonsense. God fearing brethern, follow us here to the gates of Heaven itself.

Just wanted to point out the irony of you three guys commenting on 'geeks.'

In the comic, I was the guy on the motorcycle, swinging the chain.

Very funny show guys. I usually don't care too much for anything with the word "GEEK" in the title. That's true for comics or anything else related to comics.

The line of the show had to be, "I think Wedge just died". I also liked the part about Sloofus taking his comics to Antique Road Show. Classic Comic Book Hater goodness!

Anonymous, could you describe the audio issues?

It sounded good to me. I'm usually real picky when it comes to audio quality. I'm big on quality. That's a shame that Anonymous stopped listening half-way through. That's when it got very funny.

I hate to say this, but Cappy has been great lately. I wish that I could say that he sucked, but he was once again a great addition to the show.

Yeah, I agree that the audio quality was a little lackluster on the second half. As I've said before, thankfully it can serve as a deterrent to the general shitty quality of the rest of the program.

I'd also like to point out that Wedge survived all three original Star Wars movies.

Cappy was barely in this episode, even though he was there. The Wedge comment sounded like Schooly.

The only thing Cappy added to this show was a terrible ringtone and his man-love for Spidey.

Fuck Cappy for taking that call, by the way. He's an assclown.
