Episode XXIV - Love, Be a Hater Tonight
The producers of this podcast offer their sincere apologies in advance. In the grand tradition of 'Free Speech' (created centuries ago, yet co-opted in these United States) we present a program filled with satire, education, fillibustering and general unpleasantries. All who deem it a boon to listen will instantly be regarded by their peers as somewhat of a superior, though the exact reason why will always be beyond their grasp. You, the producers believe, are to be held with an air of esteem, due largely to your ability recognize the great minds of our time, without being preoccupied with the vulgar nature of their vessels. Listen to this, friend of the company, and wonder no more why cruel fate has led us down the same path.
The focus this time is on Dave Sim's Collected Letters, 2004 and Kyle Baker's Nat Turner #2.

Hi guys-
Long time listener, first time poster.
I usually don't ruffle too many feathers anywhere- I don't usually like to post things on the internet. But I felt that I had to say something. I have enjoyed your podcast for a while now. But there is something that really bugged me.
I know you guys are are outrageous and all, and thats your thing, but I just downloaded something that offended me. I was looking at old episodes on your blog that I missed. I saw one with the golden plates so i downloaded it.
I was raised mormon- I'm not really practicing now (long story) but Sloofus said something that was totally over the line.
I'm not trying to be a downer here, but Sloofus, you really have something to answer to here. Saying "F jesus" in a public place really ought to be not allowed.
Sorry to be a downer, but that's how I feel. I know this might sound silly, and you'll probably make fun of me and all, but i feel better having said it.
I will probably still listen, but I am reconsidering. Just thought you should know.

Long time listener, long time poster.
I might be wrong, but I inferred from Schooly G's closing comment about Jesus that he was speaking solely about the Mormon Jesus. I should point out that there are many, many different versions of Jesus. There is Catholic Jesus, Baptist Jesus, Jehovah Witness Jesus, Lutheran Jesus, Episcopal Jesus, Muslim Jesus, and my personal favorite, Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus".
Some say there is also a Buddha Jesus, but that is simply urban myth.
I heard Jesus is dead, so I don't advocate f-ing him. That's necrophilia.
Then again, I heard something about him coming back to life, so technically you may be able to get away with it. It's still kind of a grey area.
-DJ Sloofus
P.S. I forgot to mention something. Technically, Schooly G said that, so you're barking up the wrong tree here, buddy.
-DJ Sloofus
What a surprise- a flippant remark. Well here's a witty rejoinder for you to suck on- you're going to hell!
What you said was offensive, Sloofus. I'm pretty sure it was you, so don't go trying to blame anyone else. Own up to it like a man. Or are you simply a 15 year old with a computer and a shitty podcast?

Ducky-baby:
We're trying to foster a positive, hate-free environment here. One that fans of the medium can freely come to and express their opinions. As such, I forbid you from coming here to freely express your opinions. You, sir, are an ass.
-DJ Sloofus
DuckerDoom, when you say that DJ Sloofus is going to Hell because Schooly G said "F Jesus", it makes me believe that in the eyes of the Mormon Church he did something as horrific as drinking a Mountain Dew. That too will send you straight to Mormon Hell, wont it? Drinking a Mountain Dew?
Is drinking a Mountain Dew worse then saying "F Jesus"? Are they the same? What if you were to say, "F Jesus" while you were drinking a Mountain Dew? Would you have to go to Mormon Hell twice?
