Episode CXXIII - Our Public Affair
Perhaps it was destiny, or (more likely) fate. Perhaps God itself intervened on behalf of sweet lady Fickle; all that is known is that something saw fit to unite the Comic Book Haters with My Secret Romance #44, published by Charlton Comics. This special occasion marks the first time the CBH Podcast Crew spent their time 'reviewing' a romance comic. Real sticklers might count Golden Plates as a love story, but the multiple wive storyline really watered it down. Those who enjoy a well-built love story (if you catch the entendre) will undoubtedly do well to seek out this particular volume. Also featured this episode is a 'groundlevel' interview with the owner of a comic book shop from in Oklahoma. Click! It Ain't Illegal Yet!

"a comic book shop from in Oklahoma."
oh yah, great podcast 8)
alrighty so 'from in' may be OK, but i'm drinkin early
ps. fat chick rox
I'm pretty sure "from in" is totally incorrect.
Why don't you have people from in Oklahoma on more often?
In my defense, when you're talking about Oklahoma, pretty much any combination of prepositions is acceptable.

That wasn't the first time you reviewed a romance comic. I remember you guys once reviewing a Spider-Man comic when Cappy was in the room. If Cappy's man-love of Spider-Man ain't romance, I don't know what is.
Cappy and Fake Peter Rios should team up from in a buddy movie.
Very fucking funny.
Oklahoma has been the epicenter of comic book greatness as of late. First, Thor up and moves to the Sooner state and now the world famous Comic Book Haters interview one of the state's top comic retailers.
I think you guys should do a series where you interview a comic book retailer from each of these 50 states. Call it The Comic Book Haters 50-State Initiative. Feature an interview in each episode.
Consider it done (or at least consider it half-assedly attempted). Maybe not every episode, but I will do my damned to make your dream our reality.
