Episode LVII - Where Creatures Fart

The number "57" brings to mind images of hamburgers and the Fourth of July, as proud Americans (and wannabees from other nations) gather together to celebrate with a large bottle of ketchup. Let us never forget the millions of brave men (and several dozen manlike women) who sacrificied their lives that we may live free. No, not the armed forces; we're speaking of the eccentric scientists, frisky young lovers, and intrepid pre-teens who, during the 1950s, valiantly fought off would-be attackers in the form of giant gorillas, irradiated lizards, and aliens from other worlds. Join the Comic Book Haters on this Fourth of July weekend for their 57th episode, as they take a look back at some vintage Marvel monster comics from years past. I love that the funnybook store guy seemed very firm about the fact that he thought "negro" was not a bad word. Sounds like he uses it all the time.
