Anyone have any audio quality issues?
Mike Dent here from R5 Central. Just got to listen to the episode after weeks of not being able to catch up to the CBH goodness.
After hearing this, I felt that I could probably try to defend the Speed Racer movie (which I felt was actually pretty badass IMO) and list a whole bunch of reasons to the contrary. Thing is though that if you weren't a fan of the cartoon, I doubt you'd enjoy it.
The movie does do the cartoon, but it does it in a way that, unless you're in on it, it's going to seem like a prolonged acid trip. Still, if a guy like me who can't bring myself to forgive the Wachowski Brothers (and The Wachowski Sister) for Matrix Revolutions was able to get a kick out of this, whose to say that you guys wouldn't?

Thanks MD (20/20?). I haven't seen the Speed Racer flick yet, but I probably will when it comes out on DVD, sooner or later. I used to love the show as a kid, but haven't really seen it in years.
