Ellis Reaches New Low

Much debate has been running rampant throughout the office of the Comic Book Hater's Podcast Studios. The normally quiet (some have said morose) hallways are abuzz with furor, all over the recent announcement that super-slack writer Warren Ellis will be revamping Marvel's original "New Universe," which was initially shat upon the comic-buying public in the mid 1980s. It seems, although none of the parties involved in the argument are supportive of the comic, no one can agree on exactly how much the forthcoming title will suck. Dubbed the "Newuniversal," it seems that care has already been abandoned, leaving hope lonesome, cold and afraid.

Is this the comic that Ellis and Cappy are writing in joint effort? I read somewhere that Ellis has wanted to co-write a funny book with Cappy. He has wanted to ever since coming up with a new character by basing it on the real life Cappy and calling it DESOLATION JONES.

While it's true that we are quite 'Loose,' our opinions towards Mr. Ellis remain unchanged. Thanks for listening, Mr. Apathy!

Dear Mr. love steel_apathy -

I can tell you without hesitation that Warren Ellis does not in fact rock as you so eloquently stated. I know rock. Rock is a very good friend of mine. Led Zeppelin rocked. AC/DC rocked. System of the Down rocks. Slipknot rocks. Warren Ellis most definitely does not rock. If rock was a person, Warren Ellis would be rock’s retarded third cousin once removed. I have downloaded the Warren Ellis podcast and it is nothing but really bad techno crap. Stuff that most definitely does not rock. The worst part about it is that I am sure Warren Ellis was doing the Robot dance with Cappy when they were listening to this stuff. That is an image that is now regrettably burned into my brain.
