Episode LIX - Tag, You're Shit

The mid-summer blues got you down? Cheer yourself up with a piping cold cup of Hatred. Join the CBH crew as they take a special post-release peek at Keith Giffen's zombie flavoured comic, "Tag." Some will live; some will die. And the Comic Book Haters' podcast will always be the same. Click here to download the episode, and please be patient regarding this episode's image. For some reason the goddamn thing won't load up. Our crack team of experts (or team of crack experts, more likely) are looking into it. And by 'looking into it,' we mean 'walking away from the computer and hoping it will work next time.' Peace be with you, and also with you.

I haven't listened to the episode yet, but I bet there's nothing in this episode that praises God in all his glory, is there?

Let me know when you do an episode that praises God in all his glory.

Thank you,

The Comic Book Robot Album was inspired.

My guess is that your #1 is Cerebus: Church and State.

However, if I am right, I wouldn't want you to stop.

And I loved Umbrellaman calling bullshit on a museum-loving Schooly G.

I liked the part where my iTunes downloaded the podcast to my iPod and then I didn't get a chance to listen to it yet.

But I'm sure actually listening to the podcast will be even better!

I like museums. Why is that so hard to imagine? Christ, I was an art history minor before i came to my senses and chose to minor in window washing- and thank god i did! it's a sweet gig, and you usually get weekends off.

Anyway, I call bullshit on Umbrellaman. I've probably been to more museums than that poncy motherfucker.

And Umbrellaman's visits to the Museum of Necrophilia or the Otaku Underage School-girl Used Panty Cultural Center don't count. fuckin' otakus.

but seriously folks. don't drive drunk. thank you.

I may have never been to a museum in my life, but I think I've been to enough titty bars to make up for it.

And around here, most of those bitches belong in a museum. And not because they're beautiful; because they're old as dirt.

I can't believe that Acme Comic Library is the largest-sized comic book you own.

Didn't you buy the room-size Little Nemo hardcover that was published last year?

For shame.

Well, at least you're expressing your feelings. And that's the first step towards tearfully admitting that there's a problem.

The final step is, of course, buying a gun and killing everybody at work.

But take tiny little baby steps for now...

I'd like to apologize for my earlier outburst. I blame the booze. I'm planning on cleaning up my act and getting a job so I can kill everyone at work.

Your apology is accepted (but there's still no excuse for not owning the house-sized Little Nemo volume).
